What are the role requirements?

React, TypeScript, and Modern Front-End Fundamentals

Demonstrated mastery of React architecture and patterns (Hooks, Context, Composition, custom hooks, controlled/uncontrolled components), advanced TypeScript (generics, conditional types, utility types, discriminated unions), and modern ES6+ with a strong focus on correctness, maintainability, and developer experience.

Next.js Delivery for Production-Grade Apps

Proven experience building production UIs with Next.js (routing patterns, SSR/SSG/ISR, streaming/rendering tradeoffs, data fetching strategies, SEO, and caching). Comfortable owning UI architecture decisions in a Next.js environment and partnering with backend/product to ship end-to-end features.

Scalable Component Architecture & Design Systems Ownership

Strong track record designing, building, and evolving reusable component libraries/design systems with clear APIs, versioning strategy, documentation, and adoption plans. Experience leveraging shadcn/ui patterns (composable components built on accessible primitives), enforcing consistency via tokens, and enabling teams through guidelines, examples, and tooling.

Styling Systems with TailwindCSS at Scale

Deep experience with TailwindCSS in large codebases (design tokens, theming, dark mode, responsive strategies, composition conventions, utility hygiene, and component styling patterns). Ability to create scalable styling conventions that keep velocity high without sacrificing consistency.

State, Server State, and Data Synchronization Expertise

Advanced understanding of client state vs. server state, caching, invalidation, optimistic updates, and error handling using React Query / SWR (or equivalent async patterns). Able to establish patterns that keep UI responsive and data reliable across complex workflows.

Performance Engineering & Front-End Observability

Proven ability to diagnose and resolve rendering bottlenecks (React profiling, memoization strategy, virtualization), implement code splitting and route-level optimization, and manage bundle size and runtime performance. Experience setting performance budgets, measuring Core Web Vitals, and preventing regressions through tooling/CI.

Inclusive, Accessible, Responsive UI Leadership

Advanced knowledge of WCAG and practical accessibility implementation (semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, ARIA only when necessary, focus management, screen-reader behaviors). Strong track record delivering fluid responsive layouts across device categories and mentoring teams on accessibility-by-default practices.
